Ahead of the first session of the 24 Hours of Le Mans this afternoon, Toyota Gazoo Racing has revealed the GR LH2 Racing Concept, a concept race car using liquid hydrogen as its fuel. This concept car debuted before the public's eyes as an exhibit at H2 Village, organized by the Automobile Club de l’Ouest (ACO).
Toyota is no stranger to motorsports innovation. The Japanese manufacturer is among the leading names in realizing a carbon-neutral dream by using motorsports as its development ground.
In 2023, Toyota revealed a hydrogen concept race car, the GR H2 Racing Concept, coinciding with Le Mans' centenary race. In May 2025, Toyota entered the third round of the Super Taikyu season, the 24 Hours of Fuji, by entering the No.32 GR Corolla H2 Concept, which runs on liquid hydrogen.
The preceding GR H2 Racing Concept previewed a potential future hydrogen category at Le Mans. The intense development of technology led to the birth of the liquid hydrogen-fueled GR LH2 Racing Concept, which is based on their GR010 Hybrid car, which debuted in 2021.
Looking at the future, Toyota announced that the car will be tested on the track to support the development of hydrogen technology and infrastructure in motorsports.
Some folks think a less-than-perfect credit score slams the brakes on their chances of getting car finance but that’s not the case anymore. The real trick lies in finding a lender who knows how to tailor deals to your situation. Not all companies do this right but if you work with a specialist who looks beyond the number, your odds improve significantly. Flexibility in terms, fair interest rates and no hidden catches are essential. That’s where car-finance fits into the picture offering personalised options even if your score’s had a few knocks. It’s not about judgment it’s about access and getting back on the road with a plan that actually works.
