Toyota Gazoo Racing have revealed their special one-off livery for the 24 Hours of Le Mans next month. The No.7 car driven by Kamui Kobayashi, Nyck De Vries and Mike Conway will pilot the red, white and black machine, based off the livery from Toyota's GT-One prototype from the late 90s.
The colourway - revealed on Monday - will mark the 40 year anniversary of Toyota's first race at the worlds premier endurance event.
The No.8 car of Sebastian Buemi, Ryo Hirakawa and Brendon Hartley will still sport the regular black WEC (World Endurance Championship) livery, with Toyota saying this choice is to signify both the past and present of the Japanese marque's endurance racing history.
The special livery is "intended to excite fans by connecting them with endurance racing's rich history, strengthening their passion for motorsports", said Toyota.
The announcement comes after the pair of Toyota GR010-Hyrbid's finished fourth and seventh in last weekends 6 Hours of Spa, after struggling in qualifying.
Both cars will be going for victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans on the 14th and 15th of June.
