Formula E has announced a fresh calendar for the upcoming Gen4 era, featuring 21 races in what is set to be the championship’s longest season! These rounds for the upcoming season of racing are set to be held across 14 countries, with x double headers and x standalone, single-header race weekends.

As announced earlier this month, Formula E will head to Jarama for the inaugural pre-season testing for the Gen4 era, from November 16 to 20, 2026, only four weeks ahead of the first race of the season.

The season will begin with the Jeddah E-Prix on December 18th and 19th before the series visits the Americas, after the Christmas break. The series would first visit Mexico before moving on to the Circuit of the Americas. There will be a second United States- based race with Miami playing host to Round 5.

March would see the São Paulo E-Prix, pushed back to accommodate the annual carnival at the Sambadrome in December before a trip to Sanya.

The European leg of the calendar starts in Berlin with a double header from May 8-9 before the Monaco E-Prix takes place just one week later.

The United Kingdom will see a race taking place at Brands Hatch, another brand new venue for the electric series on May 29-30.

Another new race venue makes its Formula E debut in June with Zandvoort in the Netherlands hosting the inaugural Dutch E-Prix.

Later on in the same month, Jarama in Madrid marks the final European race of 2027 with a single race before the final four races of 2027.

A second Chinese round will take place with a double header in Shanghai. Season 13 will conclude in Tokyo, Japan with another double header.

Chief Championship Officer Alberto Longo expressed his delight upon unveiling the Formula E calendar.

“We are incredibly proud to unveil our biggest and most ambitious calendar to date. Expanding to 21 races across 13 iconic cities is a huge milestone, and welcoming world-renowned tracks like COTA in Austin, Zandvoort, and Brands Hatch provides the ultimate stage to showcase our new GEN4 era.

“Every stop on this calendar has been chosen to deliver maximum sporting drama. Launching the season with our first-ever opener under the lights in Jeddah to showcase the speed of these GEN4 cars sets a spectacular tone, while grouping our races into distinct continental clusters ensures we do so as sustainably as possible. The tracks are faster, the competition is fiercer, and we cannot wait to get this historic season underway.”

Following the revelation of the calendar, Marek Nawarecki, FIA Circuit Sport Department said:

"We are delighted to support the expansion of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship calendar into key markets such as the USA, as well as on circuits that we believe will truly showcase the dynamic capabilities of the new GEN4 car. This is also a particularly significant moment for us, as we are now able to reveal the framework of the GEN4 sporting regulations. Working in partnership with Formula E and in close consultation with the competitors, we have adapted these regulations to match and highlight the incredible performance of the GEN4, and we believe the result will achieve exactly that."
