A 61-car entry list has been confirmed for this weekend’s round of the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup at the Nürburgring.

The endurance classic in Germany will once again test both drivers and machinery over a demanding three-hour contest. The 61-car field marks an increase of two entries compared to the previous Endurance Cup round at Monza, underlining the growing competitiveness of the championship.

The Pro, Silver, and Bronze classes each feature 17 cars following the latest entry adjustments, while the Gold class completes the line-up with 10 cars. This balanced distribution ensures that every category on the grid will deliver its own storyline across the weekend.

Porsche is the most represented brand, with 10 entries spread across the different classes. UNX Racing makes its series debut with a provisional lineup, as Mathieu Detry and Fabian Duffieux share the No. 888 Porsche 911 GT3 R (992) with Iron Dames star Marta García in the Bronze class. Their participation adds further depth to an already packed field of competitors.

The American manufacturers also make their presence known. Ford will field two Mustang GT3 entries, marking the latest steps in its return to international GT competition, while Chevrolet is represented by a single Corvette. The car, run by Stellar Motorsport, will be piloted by Alec Udell, Daniel Ali, and Lorcan Hanafin in the Silver Cup class.

Mercedes-AMG brings nine cars to the Nürburgring, highlighted by its flagship entry that currently leads the standings. The No. 48 Winward Racing Mercedes-AMG of Lucas Auer, Maro Engel, and Matteo Cairoli holds 54 points, narrowly ahead of the No. 32 Team WRT Audi of Ugo de Wilde, Kelvin van der Linde, and Charles Weerts on 53 points.

Just two points further back is the No. 96 Rutronik Racing Porsche driven by Sven Müller, Alessio Picariello, and Patric Niederhauser, keeping the title battle very much alive.

Behind the top three, the competition remains tight. The No. 59 Garage 59 McLaren sits on 35 points, closely followed by the No. 63 Grasser Racing Lamborghini with 34 points and the No. 7 Comtoyou Racing Aston Martin on 31 points. All three remain within striking distance should the leaders falter.

Elsewhere, Verstappen.com Racing leads the Gold Cup standings with Chris Lulham, Henry King and Thierry Vermeulen. Century Motorsport tops the Silver class, while Kessel Racing continues to set the pace in the Bronze category.

The 3 Hours of Nürburgring is scheduled to begin at 15:00 local time (09:00 EDT / 14:00 BST) on 31st August.
