The Porsche works driver links up with Mathias Beche and Tobias Lütke for this year's 24 Hours of Le Mans in a surprise move.

Despite Porsche missing out on this year's 94th running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, as neither Penske Porsche nor any customers will take part after the manufacturers withdrawal at the end of 2025, Kévin Estre will not.

The highly experienced and successful Frenchman has been announced as part of the No.14 TDS Racing lineup, alongside experienced racer and former class winner Mathias Beche and Bronze driver Tobias Lütke. as they will drive the ORECA 07-Gibson in the Pro/Am class.

Estre himself already has a Le Mans class win to his name, winning in the GTE Pro class back in 2018, driving a Porsche 911 RSR alongside Dane Michael Christensen and Belgian Laurens Vanthoor.

Last year he was a standout in the Porsche 963 Hypercar alongside teammates Vanthoor and Matt Campbell, as despite starting 21st due to a qualifying infringement, they nearly completed a stunning ''last to first'' comeback, finishing second, only 14 seconds behind the winning AF Corse Ferrari.

Estre won't be the only Porsche works driver to still compete in Le Mans this year, as Julien Andlauer has been also confirmed to drive in the LMP2 class for Duqueine Team, alonside F1 Academy champion and Mercedes development driver Doriane Pin and former F2 racer and McLaren development driver Richard Verschoor in the No.30 car.
