SRO reveal 59-car field for GT World Challenge Europe 2026

The full entry list for this year's GT World Challenge Europe series (GTWC EU) has been made official, with 10 brands competing and a record number of Sprint Cup entrants.


59 cars from 10 different brands have officially been entered, as 2026 is shaping up to be another landmark year for the SRO-run GTWC EU series.


Entries will compete across four categories with the Pro cup showcasing the very best the series has to offer, with drivers such as reigning champions Kelvin van der Linde and Charles Weerts, MotoGP legend Valentino Rossi, recent Bathurst winner Maro Engel and more battling it out for overall honours.


As always there are the Gold and Silver Cups, blending experienced professionals with rising semi-professional drivers, such as Ugo de Wilde, recent single-seater convert Tim Tramnitz and Simon Gachet, while the Bronze Cup continues to embody the Pro-Am philosophy that underpins the success of GT World Challenge.

With the official announcement more entires were revealed, such as a three pronged assault from Ferrari, with AF Corse entering three Ferrari 296 GT3 Evos, driven by a range of factory drivers, such as Arthur Leclerc, Alessio Rovera and Nicklas Nielsen.

“I must also speak about our events, which have been a major focus in recent years. In 2026, fans at the track will enjoy even more in terms of entertainment, as well as outstanding support races. Those unable to attend in person can watch on the GT World YouTube channel, which is free to view around the world. With all of this in mind, I know that 2026 will be an unforgettable year for fans and competitors alike.”


The season starts at the Paul Ricard circuit, with the official test days (Prologue) scheduled to take place on April 8-9 with the season opener for the Endurance Cup taking place on April 11-12. The Sprint Cup will get underway on May 2-3 with the Brands Hatch round.
